    Michelle Gallik came to my rescue at a very difficult time in my life. I had been very ill for 5 months and had lost over 30 lbs when I was referred to her by Dr. Christine Bowen. Although no one seemed to clearly pinpoint why I was so sick, I was diagnosed with SIBO and Dr. Bowen suggested that I go on the SCD Diet. Michelle was a great source of support and knowledge as I tried to understand how to adjust my diet. She spent a lot of time learning about my situation and offered me not only information, but also emotional support at the right time. I was very limited with what I could eat (there were lots of foods even on the SCD Diet that I couldn’t tolerate and digest), but she was able to prepare meal plans for me and provide me with recipes that met all my needs. As a result, I am well on my way to recovery and have even gained some of my weight back. I am very grateful for her support and would highly recommend Michelle!

    Michelle, I cannot tell you how much better I have been feeling since following your advice! My severe abdominal pain that I lived with, that became “my normal” has completely gone away! I am not taking antacids every night or complaining that food is constantly burning my stomach. I feel so healthy, energetic and clear minded. It is amazing! You have been such an inspiration to me! I look forward to learning more and gathering your great recipes and advise to make even more improvements and to help pass this good lifestyle on to my family. When I think back to how I felt and where I am now, I do not know what I would have done if you had not inspired me when I needed it most! Thank you. Lynn

    I just wanted to thank Michelle Gallik for all of her support throughout my healing journey! When I was told to follow the SCD Diet, she spent a lot of time learning about my situation and offered me not only information, but also emotional support at the right time. As a result, I am more confident cooking the right meals for myself and am well on my way to recovery. I am very grateful for her support and would highly recommend Michelle!

    I have learned so much from you but if I were to say the one thing that changed my health was the knowledge of keeping the intestinal flora healthy with homemade yogurt! How easy and delicious! Other tips that were useful: uses for raw, local honey, oregano oil to aid with colds, eating more fermented foods. The list gets longer! Thank you!

Your knowledge about the relationship between what we eat and how we feel is encyclopedic and your ability to explain complex processes in simple to understand language is a true gift.     Even though I’d been following SCD for over 2 years when I met Michelle, I felt like I learned a lot from our time together. She is a superb resource for all things SCD and treating IBD. I got new ideas for smoothies, and recipes to try.
